Christmas Time

Christmas in Rockefeller Plaza, New York City
It's a time when our eyes reflect the beauty of the season, when the lines of age are softened by smiles, when children's laughter heals our pain.
It's a time when we stretch a helping hand a little further and reach a little deeper into our pockets for those in need.
It's a time when we truly enjoy the gift of friendship and treasure the touch of family ties.
It's a time when we forget our prejudices, our jealousies and our discontent, looking to the future with a renewal of hope.
It's a time when the tiny flame of just one candle can cast away the shadows of darkness, making fear flee in its wake.
It's a magical time of the year that has no bounds, it just continues on from one generation to another, adding new traditions to old, savoring the joy and spreading the love that touches our hearts . . . magically.

And Congratulations to Jill and Pete Wimer as they are now proud parents of a baby boy, Marek Vincent, born December 1, 2014. Jill is the Pastoral Associate of our parish.
